Senior Analyst- Business Valuation, Litigation Support and Forensic Investigation Job Description:
The Senior Analyst works with a dynamic team of professionals within our Litigation Support and Valuation Advisory Services practice groups. The Senior Analyst will support a variety of engagement types including, but not limited to, business valuations and litigation support services in connection with commercial litigation, matrimonial litigation, economic damage analysis, forensic investigations, shareholder disputes, gift and estate tax planning, as well as GAAP and tax-related mergers and acquisitions support. Typical responsibilities of the Senior Analyst include but are not limited to:- Review and analysis of historical financial results. Building financial models including discounted cash flow and capitalized cash flow analyses, development of discount rates, market transaction/multiple analysis, and asset valuation analyses.
- Gathering and managing data pertinent to the engagement, analyzing, and inputting the data into financial models, and communicating the status of data acquisition with other team members.
- Performing in depth economic and industry research on a wide array of industries.
- Forensic accounting procedures to analyze and understand financial trends and results.
- Drafting comprehensive valuation and economic damage reports.
- Train, develop, mentor and direct the efforts of analysts and associates.
- Project management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Intermediate/advanced understanding of economics, financial theory, and principles of accounting
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and reliability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively within the team.

- Possesses high standards of work output, delivers on commitments, and takes initiative.

Education and Experience Required- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
- At least 2-3 years of experience with business valuations, litigation support services and/or financial analysis & research.
